I am just a freelance photographer from Cincinnati, Ohio A collection of my pictures with a view of my eclectic world. Landscapes, Candid Street, Portrait, Nature, Macro, Sports, Events and Still Life work

Specializing in photo journalism as well as documentary photography. I am a opportunity shooter who always carries a camera, looking for good light. Some of my photographs are published internationally in news papers or as book covers. Some of my pictures are featured on company and non profit organizations websites. Hope you enjoy the pictures, the site is a work in progress.

Cincinnati Nature Center at Rowe Woods : Rowe Woods was the first location of what is now a group of nature preserves the Cincinnati Nature Center. Rowe Woods is being returned back to its natural state before the trees were all harvested in the first part of the 20th century. Rowe Woods consists of acres of grass and wild flower fields, forest, ponds, water falls and streams. You can find many nice places in Cincinnati Nature Center such as Abner Hollow Cabin, Krippendorf Lodge, Powel Crosley Lake all connected by miles of woodland and grassy trails. Anderson Ferry : The Anderson Ferry has carried cars between Constance Kentucky and Cincinnati Ohio in continuous operation since 1817 Iit has three Ferries, Boone 7, Little Boone and Deborah A. It is located about 8 miles west of downtown Cincinnati Ohio. Anderson Ferry runs daily, sometimes two ferries at peak hours, other times just one. Just show up, they will get you across as quickly as possible, in less than 15 minutes. www.andersonferry.org

Lakeside Ohio : Our family has been to Lakeside Marblehead and Danbury many times ove the years. My wife grew up there as did her parents and grand parents. We try to get there at least once a year if we can if only for a Labor Day Weekend, just to relax and unwhined from the summer. The collection of pictures are mostly ones I have taken since 2000. So much on film needs to be scanned and it takes time. I have pictures starting back in 1984 of Lakeside and surrounding areas.. A quaint Americana village with approximately 800 cottages is a step back to another time. Lakeside is on Lake Erie and is located on the Marblehead Peninsula about half way between Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio. It is a gated community for a ten week period from mid June through Labor Day, offering educational and recreational opportunities as well as many inspirational activities and experiences. Programs are held in its 3000 seat auditorium every night. It is a Chautauqua community with activities and workshops for all ages. Lakeside is the Midwest's largest family-oriented relaxing retreat center with family bonding and interpersonal relationships for people of all persuasions. It is known as "The Chautauqua of the Great Lakes".

Cincinnati Tea Party Fountain Square B&W 2009 : On March 15th 2009 and April 15th 2009 Hundreds of people came out to protest the governments spending of money. They gathered on Fountain Square on March 15th and on April 15th they gathered and marched to City Hall. The protests were the beginning of the Tea Party movement in the United States of America. Many people came out in movement to stop programs the government was beginning and expanding.

Holy Cross-Immaculata Church : On Good Friday, thousands of faithful climb the steps of a Mount Adams church called Holy Cross - Immaculata. They pray the rosary at each step. This collection is dedicated to them and to the Holy Cross-Immaculata Church. This is a very old tradition of praying and climbing the hillside steps to Holy Cross-Immaculata Church in Mount Adams, Cincinnati, Ohio.. Services start at mid night and go to midnight Friday, every Good Friday rain or shine.. This group of pictures is dedicated to the people of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky that make the pilgrimage to Holy Cross Immaculata Church every Good Friday. These pictures have been taken over the last years starting in 2005
